Tonight's post will be short, sweet and to the point because I am tired and in line for a hot shower right now!

Sometime within the last 24 hours we had our first chick born (actually a guinea keet!) Ducky, the foster mama is so proud, and also very protective 😂

And we had our first calf born in 2 1/2 years! That's how long it's been since we've milked, and probably longer since we've bottle fed a calf!

I'm not sure the gender if the keet, but the calf is a BIG bull calf! Good thing my mama instincts kicked in and said to check on the heifers tonight!

We would love prayers for a nice, smooth morning tomorrow, milking our one cow 😁

Hey, gotta start somewhere 💁
