***Dairy heifer and bull calves available in Centerville, Pa 16404***

Skip the hassle and uncertainty of the sale barn! Come straight to the farm 🚜 and pick up your future herd bull, freezer beef or milk maker as a well started, spoiled, ready to go bottle baby! šŸ„šŸƒšŸ‚

Starting mid July, we will have 7-10 Holstein bottle calves looking for homes. We are still discussing prices and details, but here's what we are offering:

*All calves will be 100% grade Holstein (except one calf will be 1/8-1/4 Jersey)

* Calves will be guaranteed to get at least 4 feedings of colostrum, and fresh milk (no milk replacer) after that

* Calves will be dehorned, unless buyer lets us know ahead of time they prefer that not be done (I highly suggest you let us do it, because the younger it's done, the easier it is on the calf and handler)

*Calves will be ear-tagged with birthday in right ear

* Buyers may choose whether bull calves are left bulls, or banded for steers

* We will choose which heifer calves we are keeping, and the rest will be available

* Custom raising may be available, under certain conditions (deposit will be due within 1 week of the calf being born, and the rest will be due when the calf is picked up)

If you would like added to our list for calves, please email us at seldomrestfarm09@gmail.com , but understand that, without a deposit, calves are sold first come, first serve. We are excited for all the new babies!

Update: We will choose a few heifers for ourselves and then prices will be as follows: Heifers at 1 week old: $175 Bulls or steers: $100 After the first week, we will charge $1.50 per calf per feeding ($3 per day) to continue bottle feeding them till they're picked up. We are only interested in custom raising up until weaning (age depends on how well the calf grows and takes to grain and hay, but typically between 8-12 weeks).
